Fergie’s “Pretty Girl” Plea to Epstein Post-Jail

Sarah Ferguson’s Past Correspondence with Jeffrey Epstein Surfaces

New revelations have emerged regarding the past communications between Sarah Ferguson, the former Duchess of York, and the convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Emails exchanged between the two, made public by the Department of Justice, shed light on their complex relationship and Ferguson’s requests for assistance.

The unearthed messages reveal that as late as September 2010, after Epstein’s release from prison in July 2009 for sex offences, Ferguson reached out to him seeking a job opportunity for her goddaughter, Laura McGowan. At the time, McGowan was a 22-year-old looking for a placement in New York.

A Plea for an Internship and Accommodation

In a detailed email, Ferguson outlined her goddaughter’s needs:

  • “My God daughter Laura aged 22, needs a bed in New York, and an internship with somebody. Could Leslie [Groff, Epstein’s assistant] do with a runner for a few months? Any ideas? A bed in one of those apartments I stayed in? Just a thought.”

When Epstein inquired about the identity of the young woman, Ferguson responded with a description and expressed anticipation for his visit to London: “Laura McGowan. Pretty girl. Great you will be in London. Can’t wait to see you. Xx.”

Epstein had previously been incarcerated in 2008 for his role in procuring a child for prostitution, serving over a year before his release.

Ferguson’s Expressed Admiration and Affection

Beyond the specific request for her goddaughter, the released emails also showcase Ferguson’s effusive praise and apparent affection towards Epstein. In one message from January 2010, she wrote:

  • “You are a legend. I really don’t have the words to describe, my love, gratitude for your generosity and kindness. Xx I am at your service. Just marry me.”

Another communication, dating back to September 2009, saw the former Duchess, who was a spokeswoman for Weight Watchers, suggest that Epstein marry a woman with a “great body.” She playfully added, “Ok well marry me and then we will employ her.”

The Impact on Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie

The fallout from Sarah Ferguson’s association with Epstein, alongside her ex-husband Prince Andrew, has had significant repercussions. It is understood that their past connections have contributed to them no longer being able to use their royal titles and being asked to vacate their home at the Royal Lodge in Windsor.

The controversies surrounding their parents have reportedly left their daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, feeling “duped.” According to royal author Robert Jobson, speaking on February 9th, the princesses were led to believe their father’s denials of wrongdoing.

  • “They are pretty torn because they believed [their father],” Jobson stated. “Just like the late Queen Elizabeth and [King] Charles, Andrew told them all the same story — that he had done nothing wrong. My understanding is they feel pretty duped by the whole thing.”

Jobson further elaborated on the emotional toll these scandals have taken on the sisters:

  • “I do think they believed their father, and now it has all backfired,” he commented. “I know that Eugenie, especially, has found it very difficult.”

Despite the difficult circumstances, the journalist acknowledged that Beatrice, 37, and Eugenie, 35, are unlikely to completely sever ties with their parents.

  • “I have sympathy for them,” Jobson concluded. “It’s not their fault who their parents were associated with.”

These revelations continue to cast a long shadow over the individuals involved and their public standing.
