Formation of a Caretaker Committee in Adamawa State

Following the resignation of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) executive committee in Adamawa state, a twelve-man caretaker committee has been established to manage the affairs of the party within the state. At a press conference held in Yola on Tuesday, the chairman of the caretaker committee, Engr. Belmont Dogo, announced the formation of this temporary body. He emphasized that the recent resignation of the former state executive committee prompted the creation of the interim committee.

‘As you are all aware, following the recent resignation of the State Executive Committee of our party, a vacuum was created in the leadership structure at the state level. The National Working Committee of our great party, the People’s Democratic Party, in its wisdom and sense of duty, deemed it inappropriate for the executive offices to remain vacant at such a critical time. Consequently, this Caretaker Committee was constituted.’
