Africa Group Launches Eligibility Test to Boost Earnings Above Minimum Wage

A New Pathway for Economic Empowerment in Africa

Developing Africa Group (DAG) has launched a groundbreaking pilot initiative aimed at helping African graduates and skilled individuals achieve income levels above the current minimum wage. This innovative program, introduced by its founder Ben Oguntola, is designed to support structured self-employment through the use of technology.

The initiative includes an Eligibility Test that helps identify talents and align them with scalable income opportunities. The goal is to generate up to ?1 million per month within six months for selected participants. According to Oguntola, the program is built on the belief that sustainable income for Africans can drive broader continental development.

“The test ensures that selected participants have profiles capable of reaching the targeted income level through structured support, commercialization strategies, and technology integration,” he explained. The Eligibility Test costs $20 and assesses applicants’ capabilities, specialization areas, and readiness to join the program.

Nine Pathways to High Income

The initiative identifies nine major pathways to earning ?1 million monthly, reflecting Nigeria’s diverse talent pool and economic landscape. These include:

• Sports: Helping talented athletes convert their abilities into international contracts, potentially leading to visa or citizenship offers.
• Healthcare: Providing models that connect healthcare professionals, such as nurses, technicians, and specialist doctors, to relevant medical technologies and service demands across local authorities.
• Education and Career Specialization: Offering a framework to transform university training into structured services supported by related technologies.
• Raw Materials Trading: Guiding individuals with access to local raw materials on how to trade and scale those resources into profitable ventures.
• Intellectual Property Rights (IPR): Covering copyrights, trademarks, designs, and patents, enabling writers, artists, innovators, and scientists to commercialize their creations effectively.
• Consumer Protection Services: Focusing on identifying gaps in consumer protection and responding to technology service demands.
• Technology Demand Solutions: Leveraging tourism knowledge and structured data entry services within local authorities.

Application Process

The application process involves four stages:

1. Personal Profile Submission
2. Module Selection
3. Module-Specific Detail Assessment
4. Payment Confirmation

Successful applicants receive notification from the administration team with further steps toward onboarding.

Oguntola emphasized that Africa’s development begins with empowering its people. “When individuals are empowered to earn a decent and dignified income, they naturally initiate transformation within their communities,” he noted.

“We are starting with Nigeria and then move to Africa. Namibia has already expressed an interest to work with us,” he added.
