Operatives of the Delta State Police Command have successfully rescued a kidnapped victim, bringing a swift end to a harrowing ordeal for a 27-year-old woman from the Ibusa community. The victim had been abducted on March 12, 2026.
The successful operation was initiated following a credible report received by the police. The information indicated that the young woman had been taken to a building site situated beside the Obosi River, along the Ibusa/Ogwashi-Uku Road. This critical intelligence prompted immediate action from the command.

Upon receiving the report, the State Commissioner of Police, Aina Adesola, issued decisive orders. He directed the Command’s elite Special Anti-Kidnapping and Cyber-Crime Squad to deploy immediately to the location.
