Marie Keane, née Lynch, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 27, at St Anne’s Ward in Marymount University Hospital and Hospice. Marie was predeceased by her husband, Maurice “Mossie” Keane, her brother Pat, and her niece Estella and nephew Thomas, marking the end of a generation for her family.

On Saturday evening, Roy took to Instagram to share a poignant photograph of himself and his mother. A Requiem Mass was set to be held on Tuesday, March 31, at 11:00 AM in the Church of the Resurrection, Farranree. The burial was to follow at St Catherinne’s Cemetery in Kilcully, providing a final resting place for Marie.
