Zendaya and Tom Holland are making a highly anticipated return to the big screen, with their characters set to rekindle their on-screen relationship in the upcoming film Spider-Man: Brand New Day. At the end of No Way Home, Peter made the ultimate sacrifice by erasing himself from everyone’s memory to prevent the multiverse from collapsing. This crisis was triggered by Doctor Strange’s spell, which brought villains like Green Goblin and Doctor Octopus into the MCU. As a result, Peter lost everything—his relationship with MJ, his friendship with Ned, and any trace of the life he once knew.
“Hi, my name is Peter Parker,” Holland says in voiceover. “You don’t remember me, but we used to know each other.”
Four years have passed, and Peter is now older, isolated, and still grappling with the grief of losing Aunt May, played by Marisa Tomei.
