A Sunny Offseason Getaway for the Mahomes Family
Brittany Mahomes recently shared a collection of photos from a relaxing vacation with her husband, Patrick, their three children, and some close friends. The Kansas City Chiefs’ wife posted a series of heartwarming images on Wednesday, showcasing the family enjoying quality time together in a warm climate.
While the exact location of the trip remains unknown, the Mahomes family can be seen in full holiday mode. They include daughter Sterling, who is 5 years old, son Bronze, aged 3, and one-year-old Golden Raye. The family of five was captured posing together outside their accommodation and at what appears to be a beach club. Additional photos show Patrick walking with his kids along the beach, highlighting the joyous atmosphere of the trip.
The couple, who recently celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary, also took a romantic photo in front of a swimming pool, looking stylish and ready for an evening out. In one of the adorable snaps, Patrick is holding two of his children, showing his affection and care despite recovering from ACL surgery.
During the trip, Brittany and Patrick were joined by their friend Miranda Hogue, who took a few pictures with her close friend, Brittany. Miranda’s husband, Summitt, who is one of Patrick’s childhood friends, was likely part of the vacation, although he did not appear in the photo dump.
A Special Anniversary Celebration
The Mahomes family outing comes right after Brittany and Patrick celebrated their wedding anniversary, which prompted an emotional message from the former soccer player. On social media, Brittany reflected on their journey, writing: “Growing with you, learning with you, making babies with you. All of it has been the best years of my life! I love you @patrickmahomes forever & ever. Here’s to many more years and memories.”
Patrick also marked the occasion by sharing a tribute to his “Day 1,” featuring photos from their teenage years in Texas alongside recent holiday snaps with their growing family. The three-time Super Bowl winner posted a throwback picture of the couple as teenagers, as well as images from their wedding and a recent photo of them together.
However, it was the accompanying song, “Only You” by J. Cole and Burna Boy, that truly delighted his wife. Brittany responded with excitement, writing: “Ommggggg I LOVE YOUUU,” followed by two happy tearful emojis: “The song.”
A Journey of Love and Growth
Patrick and Brittany first started dating in high school, 10 years before their wedding. They became engaged in 2020 and have since welcomed three children together: Sterling, Golden, and Bronze. Their recent downtime in the offseason has a unique twist this year, as Patrick is working hard to recover from an ACL injury sustained last December while playing for the Chiefs.
He underwent surgery immediately but still faces a challenging road to recovery. The goal is to be healthy enough to play for the Chiefs in Week 1 of the 2026 season, which starts in early September. Despite the challenges, the Mahomes family continues to enjoy moments of happiness and togetherness, proving that love and support are essential during both good and tough times.
